Wonder if there is any way to access Ashok Kumar's article so the "discrepancy" between his sequential growth numbers and that of IDC can be checked out (though their time periods do not coincide -quarterly versus annual).

all i have to do is listen to what office workers at the 5,000 employee company i work for have to say when the topic of "i'm buying a computer" comes up to know that dell is absolutely outperforming cpq gateway ibm-- when it comes to pcs for the home. how a price war between intc & amd can hurt dell is beyond me. this analyst seems to be reaching for publicity. if you don't recommend dell, surely you don't recommend gateway or compaq. is he saying the computer mfg companies are over valued?
