Larry, Not so far off topic. I already took the liberty of posting that Ancor had survived the floorless convertible on that thread: Message 7395097 So far none of their experts has responded to my invitation. I think it speaks to the fact that it is not a simple matter to just find out about a convertible and short the stock on that basis. You point out another important variable - finding the exact details before it gets posted as an SEC document or at any later date. The other matter is that (as we now know) - there are conditions that are consistent with making it through the conversion - and they are very difficult to predict. George D.
