Nicholas try this thread for alot of excellent info on fundamentals combined with technical analysis, momentum investing, earnings plays. Jenna has an excellent record of solid picks. There is always a wealth of info. Very active thread.

I have found stocks at either end of the spectrum- very high RS or Very low RS to move more quickly. Also high volatility will yield more movement in stocks. Volatility can be measured by beta or daily range as a ratio to price. FLoat turnover has also been used succesfully as a measure of volatility.

I have done quite a bit of fundamental testing and found that very few indicators correlate with short term or intermediate term price movement. The only except I found was in very high revenue growth> 75%.
