Look at the VVUS chart-it ran up to 80 pre-split. company had a handful of employees, 1 product (not counting the rubber band) but a great hype machine. The moves are not quite as dramatic, but close from a % stand point A $50 stock dropping 7 points in a day is the same as a $250 stock dropping 35. The fact it is at 2 is my whole point.

Pfizer is a 10X better long term investment than eBay.

I has truly been a performer. Nice profits, nice steady increase
in value. They have so much in the development "pipe", there
appears to be a product line that will not end. Also, they have a killer marketing group to over run the competition and the market.
And people, especially the aging, need medication a lot more than
baseballs and furbies. Plus, with an investment like that, you can sleep at night!

Then again, if you want big risk accompanied by market over emotion
and momentum, ebay can give you a rush ride and big profits. No doubt about that. Both stocks have their merits.
