<<<<Sig:<horses> I'm watching a Fort Worth man visiting Reno this weekend, deal with quarterhorses. He is telling me that the center of the quarterhorse world, is north of Fort Worth. Have you added
that yet to your ranch? Haven't seen you speak of this yet. Where are you getting the 16' high greenhouse extension from (seriously)? TIA signed arthur in reno>>>>
Aurthur: I have been glued to this property since 1995 building a house and getting absolutely filthy stinking rich. Took only one trip out of country (TX) since.
Caring for a Horse would have eliminated that one. Do you know those critters wear shoes ?. Expensive shoes.
My garage rafters will be 16' high at the middle, so I could cut
away under one side ( theres a wall in the middle)and run 4 x 6 beams sloping down from the high center of building to the 8 ft wall and put skylights or plexiglas in the roof. So it would only be 16 ft in
the center portion.
As a far as daytrading Dell it could be fun and excitement
but not required. I have made(on paper) in the last 35 days, what would have been my total take home pay for 33 1/3 years (working in the 1960's at Boeing). Used only Dell stock and calls on various stocks.
Look out, Kemble !
And there is much more to come, as obvious from recent Dell news. My luck comes from selling only 1/2 my Dell shares in 1995 in to buy some building materials as even then Dell seemed to have potential. But I was not wise enough to begin serious accumulation of Dell stock until 1996, because my picture of
(market) success was contaminated from all I had seen read over the years about dividends, bonds, real estate, diversification,
and the customary way in which rich individuals had made their money in the past or where they had funds invested.
Should not one study to become a doctor or a lawyer to make good money ?. And do not those who have had money know best how to make money??.
Up until maybe 2 1/2 years ago I assure you I had no clue( none at all), that a person could get rich in the manner that has happened to many here. Because the method (focusing on Dell)is far different from what 'the other guy' uses and normally brokers are dead set against it as there is no big profit for them.
IMO others here like Mr Michaels, Dorrine,Mohan, etc, at least knew years ago that it was possible to be very successful in the market.
Now I am really going to have to work to 'blow it' to prevent becoming one of those obnoxious Dellionares.
1. A margin call would not prevent it.I would still have shares left. Plus some in the attic, plus other assets to buy back what was lost.
2. Over-investing in the Web stocks is not going to happen, my wife would prevent it. A loss there merely slows things down.
3. I play the options( calls) spread out over months or years
so one bad month, although painful, is not disastrous
Nope: The only way I can screw up badly is to sell Dell stock

What in Tarnation are you doing in Reno.? Just kidding, have a good time...
Watch out for the quarterhorses. I put $100 on one at Portland Meadows which had won his first race by 30 lengths( unheard off)
He dead-heated to win and I made only 10 bucks. Coulda lost it all
Your turn on the soap box.(G)
