Had a banner day with the Bear Cub. She has a bucket of blocks - and she picked all the spilled blocks up (the ones that went with the bucket!) and plunked them one by one into the bucket. Then she played a game with me - her own rules. She would pick a block out of the bucket, then put it in my hand with an interrogative syllable. Then she would either put another block in my hand - or she would pick a block out of my hand and drop it in the bucket. Sometimes all the blocks were in the bucket. Sometimes all but one were in my hand.It was quite cool - she had great attention and a sense of purpose - and we did that for fifteen minutes before she gave me the "hungry" hand signal. She has another new trick. Several syllables all at once, like Pebbles on the Flintstones. "Wargubatkee?"
