The island book

Having access to trading the island book for daytraders is as significant as when ECN's were first introduced. On level II you are probably use to seeing the island ECN. What you are seeing is island's so called best bid and best ask prices. On island's book you see every price and volume in their system (which is actually a whole separate system).

What makes this so significant is that on Nasdaq you are not allowed to lock or cross the market. In the island book though, all locked or crossed prices are visible and can be traded by our users because we are subscribers to the island book. You can also post locked or crossed prices in the island book which Nasdaq will not let you do on their system.

In addition, it appears the island book prices are delivered significantly faster than the island ECN prices posted on Nasdaq level II most of the time (up to a couple of seconds faster in some cases). This gives our traders better prices before others not able to trade the island book.

Bottom line is there is a much greater chance of being able to get and receive better prices for the individuals using the island book as opposed to ones who do not.

To fully appreciate what I am trying to explain, you should see and experience it for yourself. I am glad to make this available for anyone interested to evaluate it without any cost or commitment on their part.

If you are interested just post a note to me or send a private message and I will instruct you on how to download the software to be able to see this in action.

Ron, I hope this explanation was somewhat helpful and you'll be the first one to take a look at what I am talking about.

Regards,
Dan
