<< Over the past week international bond speculators have been watching the remake of Godzilla vs. Rodan the Flying Monster on the Tokyo pages of their computer screens.

You wouldn't think of Japanese finance officials as being particularly strong on the creation of dramatic tension, but the previous week's forced write-offs of the country's bad bank loans was followed by this week's crash in the Japan Government Bond market.
