Are final negotiations on going? I note from the December 14th, 1998 AZNT update that the middle east is not mentioned. The United States, Canada, and Australia appear to be their distribution focus... LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998-- Company in Final Negotiations for Distribution in Middle East and Plans Nationwide Retail Sales Program Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc. (OTC BB:AZNT) today announced that the Company has filed suit in the United Stated Federal Court, Case Number CVS9801247LDG (RLH), for the return of 4,480,000 free trading shares. When the shares are returned to the Transfer Agent for cancellation, the Company will be able to enter into the next phase which will involve AZNT's stockholders who have purchased free trading shares request physical delivery of their certificate(s). The Company will provide further instructions after the hearing to be held on September 10, 1998. Recent Strategic Alliances/Distribution Agreements/International Expansion -- Concurrently, the Company announced that is in final contract negotiations with Al-Jenfawi General Trading Co. representing the Middle East for the sale and distribution of Amazon's entire product line. -- Amazon is targeting its TOUCH OF NATURE and Phytogenics Dietary Supplements products to 2,000 retail outlets nationwide. -- The Company has produced a "stevia" powder with the same taste as cane sugar that will be sold only in Canada. This product has been approved for sale and will be available in all retail/health food stores throughout Canada.
