Have to share this with the Datek account holders. The following link will give you the ability to speed your Datek orders as well as give you more control. Just developed by Tai Jin and it's free.

Still amazed,

frank, thanks for staying up nights to help us out--
i know that is tough in vegas

re dellauction i read the following general info in the 2/5 edition
of The Industry Standard (i-net mag):

"To date the auction market has been dominated by business
to business and consumer to consumer players. But there's
really no reason why Wal Mart can't get into the act. A new
report from Jupiter Communic says auctions on retail sites
will become a platform for traditional clearance pricing and
discounting. This pricing shift is expected to make business-
to-consumer auctions a 3.2 billion market be 2002, with the number
of auction buyers possibly climbing as high as 6.5 million."

graph accompanying the article shows # 1998 online auctioon
buyers at 1.2 million (versus projected 6.5 mill by 2002)
also shows 1998 Business to consumer auction market at 0.5
billion versus 3.2 billion by 2002

I DON'T KNOW what dell's auction will offer but it appears they
are the first company i know of that is going into what the
article says will be a rapidly growing business.

agree with earlier poster who said dell carries 7 day inventory.
this may sound stupid but maybe dell pays $50 for computers
people are discarding for their new dell then auctions them...then again if folks are on net looking at dell auction, they probably
don't want used stuff.
