Great article. Did you notice that he said 40% of sales are now online? Last I heard it was 20% with a long term goal of 50%
At this rate they might blow right by the long term goal!

RE: Michael Dell article

Wal,

The article says internet sales are $10 mil per day.

Last year at earnings time (2-18-98), the figure was $4 mil per day.

WOW!

Walcalla - Thank you for the excellent article. However,
I am a little perplexed by this since it does not quite compute. The 20% over the Web figure, if I recall it correctly, related to 10 million a day. How can 40% over the web still relate to 10 million? Perhaps, the article misquoted a bit, or perhaps we are in for a bigger surprise than I anticipate...<BG>.

We'll know in a week and a half but I have to say that I can hardly wait....<VBG>

Thank You...

Have a GREAT day...
