<what's that Vertmont Co> Green Mountain Power GMP...and I can tell you first hand, our rates went up 5.7% recently. Also, this time of year we go to "Winter rates", charged a higher rate for the Winter months (5 months,I think-double whammy<g>)...Company has been in trouble,but the dividends over the years have been excellent...DD quote.yahoo.com Interesting company though, have installed 11 wind generators nearby,on top of a mountain..maybe they're trying to head to higher rate "green power"..(actually,read where a company can get a gov. kick back for producing green power)
