Thanks. Quite an impressive background. What I had heard, secondhand, is that Dr. Bhappu had been a total disbeliever in desert dirts and as a result of much work including that of IPM he had turned around. I had heard also that he did travel with IPM to Washington to testify on their behalf about their BRX project. I would imagine if he is testifying in front of some committee he would believe in their research efforts. He was doing most of it at the end!!

Of course, there is much work and research to be done and yes a scientific understanding needs to develop. Is that not what the DD's are all about? If the DD's had a fleet of scientists half the age of Dr. Bhappu possibly a better understanding could develop. I have always felt that they should have aligned with several universities ages ago but that never happened.
