(PR NEWSWIRE) Royal Pictures Courted By Film Distributors Royal Pictures Courted By Film Distributors Company Considering Several Possible Alliances; Seeking Others NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Pictures, Inc. (OTC-Bulletin Board: RPIX) announced today that in response to the show of considerable interest by several domestic and international film distributors, the Company has accelerated its plans to establish a formal relationship for the distribution of its upcoming slate of motion pictures. David Olinsky, Company President, said, "We are delighted to be able to consider a broad field of distribution partners. The early enthusiasm shown by significant industry participants further reinforces our commitment to innovations in the production of independent films." The Company believes that much of this interest has been fueled by the unusual concept developed for its first project, "Calle Ocho," ("Eighth Street"), which will be simultaneously filmed in English and Spanish. In what is believed to be an unprecedented move, the film is scheduled to open on the U.S. screen in both languages, and extensively distributed in Spanish-speaking countries as a rare example of U.S. film produced in Spanish. Finding the right distribution company is essential to the Company, which will continue to consider other companies before entering into formal negotiations for a definitive arrangement. Not only does such an arrangement obligate a distributor to print and market a film, but the existence of a strong distribution arrangement often facilitates financing film production. While the Company believes that it has secured necessary funding commitments for "Calle Ocho" and several other projects, a sound distribution agreement for this and other projects should greatly enhance the Company's ability to pursue its plans to be a leader in independent film production. The Company plans to premiere "Calle Ocho" in Miami, Los Angeles and New York in early 2000. Companies interested in distribution opportunities are invited to contact the Company's Executive Producer, Robert Brent at (305) 893-4440. Royal Pictures, Inc. is both a multi-dimensional and a multi-faceted independent film production Company, that plans to develop and produce motion pictures for the big screen. All three stages of motion picture production will be performed or arranged by Royal Pictures, including funding, production, and distribution of the completed film.
