Glen, in the back of my mind I think NAVR will not announce the IPO before the market opens but after the market closes. The last really big news coming from NAVR was within minutes of the market close. This announcement could easily have been made earlier in the day, specifically _before_ the market opened.

On a purely logical level, a post-market announcement might make a lot of sense right now, the way the market is behaving. By waiting until the market closes, NAVR can time the announcement to investor sentiment after the fact [performance that day], in which case the euphoria [by NAVR investors] will carry over into the next market day, no matter how the market performs. By announcing before market opening, the impact could be overshadowed by general market performance, especially if it turns out NAVR announces on what turns out to be another rotten day.

Glen,
The pseudo-longs on this thread are the only ones trying to make the specific date of the actual announcement a big concern...just another cheap ploy to introduce fear and uncertainty among the real longs...They are the same whining group that sees disaster in every occurrence in which NAVR loses 1/8 of a point...The true benchwarmers are too strong a breed to be affected by this BS, and a few days...or even weeks...one way or another won't make any difference after the long wait...
