Do you hold a position in Vivus (short, puts, whatever)? If not, your behavior on the Vivus message boards is quite distasteful to say the least.

02/08 07:32 British MP says he prescribed Viagra to colleagues

LONDON, Feb 8 (Reuters) - A British Member of Parliament, who is
also a doctor, said on Monday he had prescribed the anti-impotence
drug Viagra to fellow MPs.

Howard Stoate, a Labour MP, defended his actions saying the men to
whom he prescribed the drug had serious problems and were not
merely "Saturday night funsters".

"They are responsible, sensible, adult people. They had a problem they
wished to discuss and I was able to give them the help and advice they
needed," he told BBC radio.

Stoate said he had revealed his actions to show that MPs, many of
whom spend weekdays away from home, find it hard to get proper
confidential medical advice.

But his actions may embarrass the Labour government which last
month sparked outrage among doctors when it proposed to restrict
government subsidies for the prescribing of Viagra to a limited number
of patients with specific clinical conditions.

The government wants to limit subsidies for Viagra to men who have
had radical pelvic surgery, their prostate removed, who suffer spinal
cord injuries, are diabetic or who have multiple sclerosis or gene
neurological disease.

Health Secretary Frank Dobson said other men who suffered severe
distress by impotence should only be prescribed Viagra in exceptional
circumstances and only after a specialist assessment in hospital.
