The Iridium marketing people must have figured out that Inmarsat customers are a market for them, don't you think? If they haven't, then we're in trouble...

Iridium negotiated their way through the radio astronomy interference issue, and I have been told that they were not causing problems for radio astronomers since turning on the system. But I have not heard from any Globalstar personnel (or those who know these things) about the uplink/downlink frequencies for that system, and what negotiations they've had to undertake to avoid problems; I suspect the information is in a prospectus somewhere. I would like very much to know this, since people are continually comparing the I* and G* systems, and this would seem like an interesting data point for comparison...
