Hi Syncrude:

I agree that not tendering our Arp shares and playing the wait and see game is the best course of action. I do not believe the drilling results to date, and the physical and geochemical evidence published to date, is taken into account by this enormously conservative market scared by Bre-X etc., and the decline of the price of gold. Wait for a few months, of this enhanced and aggressive drilling program and I believe your view of this project will come much closer to my view.

Likely, we will have to buy Barrick, to continue to participate in Veladero and Arps other properties in the area. Based on what I see, Barrick isn't going to walk away, there are too many positives for them. Check Barrick's comments on Pascua and area on their website. Pretty bullish. But I think we all agree, if you hold the shares, we would like Barrick to raise the offer, that way we win twice, once quickly, and then again in time.

Raise the bid Barrick!
