Well at 3000 feet i guess so( hope you have a beautiful view to go with the cold);

Mark,

I do and enjoy it.

This winter was freaky cold and dry here ; the lowest it got down to was
18 degrees F and that's cold for being in the San Joaquin Valley; it hurt a lot of plants in
my yard this yr.

The fall was freaky warm here. Thus, Lake Erie's water temperature stayed warm. Right around Christmas, we had lots of very cold blasts from Canada. We get a large amount of lake affect snow due to being 40 miles south of the lake and 2300 ft above it. One always reads about Buffalo's lake affect snow since they have a large population. We get much more but are ignored by the media. As far as the media is concerned, no one lives here. According to the local airport, we received 114 inches of snow during the month of January. Needless to say, my store in Meadville did not do well that month.

i hope we don't see any frost this spring here when the grapes start to
bud leaves; if it does, it'll be a light crop this yr.

I wish you the best here. Your business is much more dependant on the weather. Mine can be set back a month but you need to wait until the next season. As they say, the grass always looks greener.....

Glenn
