I thought I read that E*Trade is having a share holders meeting in April, 1999 and that they are to discuss increasing the outstanding shares from 150,000 mil to 300,000 mil. Like to hear your output on that subject. italiana

I don't think there's a single SI member who needs or desires any further expansion of your already exhaustively-expressed point of view.

I couldn't agree with DD more, and I welcome hearing his views.

As for the STOCK, its performance is going to depend, at least in part, on the SERVICE, which is intolerable -- just plain awful.

If you're going to celebrate the departure of customers who are fed up with the service, you might as well celebrate the continued decline of the stock price.

The stock won't go up if the company fails to provide adequate service for its customers. System failures during trading hours, delayed executions and confirmations, and intolerably long waits to reach customer service are not what I'd call adequate service.
