I really believe since this Presidents crimes cross political lines as they do...a goodly number of swing voters and quite a little few Democrats themselves may remain really peeved that the Democrats let him off the hook. Convict him and most who say he shouldn't be convicted would shortly say instead, "well, he was guilty, so what", as witnessed by the 75% poll statistic which says He did lie. Dems are making the wrong turn here. They'll get him off and yet this is not going to end. Another law suit coming against him...probably better than the Jones suit..Dolly Browning. She may have evidence Clinton threatened her not to publish her book. News on this would lessen a little only if he were removed...it's not going to stop...Only conviction could lessen the newsworthyness of whats going to continue to come down on him. Starr may have much more in more serious areas. He may charge him soon for these present crimes alone...but possibly with the addition of evidence that he coerced this Steel woman to lie about Kathleen Wiley. Good LORD...I kinda like it...but for those who don't- conviction is the best answer! Hey, for me too. It's his own doing. :-)
