-- Mattel and Intel launch the Intel(R) Play(TM) line of PC-enhanced toys.
The Intel Play X3(TM) Microscope lets children magnify and display
microscopic objects on their PC screens and then play with the images
in creative ways. The microscope uses digital video imaging technology
to let kids view, enlarge and save images. The software included with
the microscope allows children to capture video and stills as well as
create time-lapse movies. The Intel Play Me2Cam(TM) creates a whole
new system of play where children see themselves on the computer screen
and use their own bodies to navigate in a virtual world.

"i wouldn't call a 10% correction devastating"

It is the very definition of decimated. Whether or not it is devastating must be in the eye of the beholder.
