Rumour has it that at the BCE meeting last week, Jean Monty, (president of BCE) said that if there was one stock he would be buying right now it would be BCE Emergis and that he thinks that it should be an $80 stock. That prompted some of the top brass to sell some BCE and buy BCE Emergis.
This looks like the repeat of a CGI. CGI was trading at a few dollars a few years back and now trades at over $35,and has had 3, yes three, 2 for 1 splits in a 9 month period as at the latter part of 1998, and ( like BCE Emergis) is mostly owned by BCE.
BCE obviously wants BCE Emergis to be one of their pillars to go along with CGI, Nortel... and the list goes on.
