CTC, My comment was with tongue firmly in cheek. Hope you didn't misunderstand me. Your concise post represents my views in this matter much better than the 5 or so posts that I made to SB yesterday. Have ordered the Michael Murphy book. -Apratim.

One final thought before I try to get some sleep in anticipation of an incredible Dell Week. Apratim, Skeeter Bug, and Chuzzlewit's esoteric dissertations into the underlying principles of economics has taken on a life of it's own this weekend. The three of you, apart from having amazingly unshakable convictions about your opinions, have more free time on your hands than anyone I know. Hell, it's taken me three two-hour sessions just to READ all of them. I keep hoping you will downshift to more practical applications that I can put to use tomorrow, but alas, I am afraid you are all more wizened (and stubborn) than myself when it comes to economic theory. I hope you took a break sometime this weekend and went outside for awhile--it was beautiful . . . P.S. Thanks for the ongoing dissertations. You guys need your own thread ;-)
