Scott

I have a Net2Phone calling card. You pay up in advance and then you dial into a local access number and then make your call from there to anywhere in the U.S. anytime for 5 cents a minute. I have not noticed any difference in sound quality, but I am not too picky about that kind of thing.

See this link for my comments on the analysts following this stock:

As far as the network infrastructure, I am not a telecom expert, but I do know they will own or lease their own capacity for the transmission of calls. This makes their costs for routing calls very inexpensive and so they can be much more competitive. I believe they do own some fiber optic cable, specifically under sea cable to Europe, and they have built out the rest of their European network extensively in the last 2 years. As to what the network consists of: fiberoptic cable, phone lines, switches, POPs, etc. In short, everything needed to get a call from point A to point B, at least for the long distance part of the call. I know they just recently leased a bunch of fiberoptic capacity from Frontier (FRO).

Anyone else know more technical details of IDT's network than I have described here? Please write in. Also, Scott, I would like to read any analyst's comments you have managed to collect from the wall street journal site. Could you post the links or if it is a pay service, copy and paste all pertinent info to this board? Thanks in advance,
