Stitch, as I'm sure you understand, my WDC buy was NOT based on any faith in the company. If I can get 1/2 point out of it I'll be happy. If I can get more than 1 point I'll be ecstatic.

Seriously, haven't we been talking about pressures on Japanese banks to shore up their capital ratios for a long time? We've been hostage to Japanese purchases of Treasury securities for how long now? Ten years?

I am not saying that repatriation of Japanese investments in this country is not a threat. But I just don't see it being actualized yet in any material way yet. Yet.

I'm sure Gus would have strong views on this question, if he would parachute back in.

When is the Morgan Tech conference. Goldman Sachs is this week with a number of drive companies presenting. You would think the Montgomery conference last week would have helped. -Z
