That'll Be the Day

<<The one announcement that would trigger a buy on SATH would be a change to an auction format with very low reserves, a complete overhaul of their purchasing department, and an announcement that the company was repurchasing at least 10% of their shares annually.>>

Isn't that like suggesting to someone that they voluntarily transplant all of their own vital organs? (Rhetorical question) BTW, I heard last week that numerous people in Chicago called up Walter Payton's business office following his recent press conference announcing that he had a rare liver disease and offered to give him their own livers. I know... a very sad story, but nevertheless illustrative of modern times. Perhaps we have a few of those benevolent Samaritans investing in SATH at current levels? ;^)

Jay...do you have a target to cover your short position?

Seems like everyone else is saying ...well it went up....now it will come down......

I'm a little less than overwhelmed by these investment "skills" demonstrated by others...

I exclude you from these others because you have clearly stated the reasons for your short position....

But none the less, if you think the stock has topped out at these levels...at what price will you cover your small short position

$18....$20.....$17.....?????? Did you set a target?

So far I have asked this question of all the "shorters" on this thread....and NOT one of them could give me an answer....

Now wouldn't you agree that it makes a lot more sense (and dollars and cents) to target a top or high of 30 or 32 or 33 or whatever, and THEN short from that level...rather than short at a price of 23 or 24 especially when the momo seemed to be pushing the price to at least 29?

Seems like if I was shorting...I'd rather short from 29 to 17 than 23 to 17...

Again...I ask all the post game prognosticators to demonstrate their skills prior to the game begins.....

Then we can all check the score cards AFTER the game...based on our pre-game predictions

I'll even give my hypotheticals...even though I do not own this stock nor do I know enough to make an informed pick....

But with that said here my numbers go...Assuming I had a buy in price at 21....

Hold long to 34....Sell...short from 34 ...cover at 25.....

Now that will give me 13 + 9 or $22 total per share....

So again to ALL: post numbers...real or hypothetical NOW and then we can ALL compare again on Wednesday....

Should be fun......but I'm not holding my breath...since the evading pseudo-gurus and their disciples always evade and then later proclaim how great their insights were after the events transpire...

Oh well...
