Thanks for explaining it so eloquently. It is exactly why I prefer to talk to a company's engineers than to its executives. They rarely tell fibs, and they know what is going on, not only in their own outfit, but in the competitors.

Knowing this simple truth has sure made a better "grunt" out of me. (g)

Incidentally, my daughter is about to enter university,.....engineering. Her old man is even prouder of her. (g)

I remember seeing those huge icicles on the Challenger, and could'nt believe that they actually launched it under those conditions! The main people responsible should have received jail terms. Yogi
