Even after eight hours in a coal mine, one can notice things in the shower, Jim. I was down in the mine too, so I needed a shower too.

As for the "sugar and spice," I have never forgotten overhearing someone's saying to my father that it was a pity he had no son. After a pause, my father responded that what he liked about having daughters was that he could play basketball with us all afternoon and then we'd come home, get cleaned up, and look so damned pretty.
