The short was iniatiated because you never know where the "top" is. This way you at least have a position started at a "high" price. As to why not start the position at 27 or 28, simple, it may never ever see that price. If it doesn't, your already in and if it goes higher, you build a better average. This is my interpretation and by no means do I speak for Anthony. I have no position in this but am looking to short it starting tomorrow. I wish I had it long also, at least until now. : )

ztect, just because you lost all your money because you were on the other side of Anthony's trade on another stock and took a bath is no reason to cry about it in public.
