>>>I bought Quicken deluxe last year. I have been unable to connect online with Dreyfus Brokerage. They do have data I can dl for quicken only it's not the right format? <<<

Jeff,

According to the Quicken list, it doesn't look like Quicken supports Dreyfus Brokerage so I'm not suprised you're having that problem. I would call Dreyfus' online support number and specifically give them your problem.

As I have been looking for ways to remedy my problem of personally entering 1000+ transactions into Quicken I remembered software I saw at Comdex a few years back during a paperport demo using their scanners.

Well, I decided to go searching....and I found Zydeco....papervue was the product I saw....well when visiting Office Depot I discovered their product again. I found "Zydeco for Quicken & TurboTax". So now I finally had a good reason to buy a scanner....the money came flying out of my wallet.<g>

I am now in the learning/operational curve phase of this new effort of scan, organize & manage all financial documents...and now have faith I won't have to file an extension this year.<g>

Hell, I might finally start balancing my checkbook!<ggg> NOT!

I would love to hear from a veteran...
