Here is why DELL will Beat the Whisper and My Prediction

revenue growth at approx. 52% year-to-year 1998 vs. 1997 (I will use 55% since we know sales growth will be up given chip sales and other PC sellers figures, not to mention penetration in server market)

Net profit percentage approx 7.9%,
fully diluted shares outstanding 1.39 Billion

Conservative Analysis
$3.737 billion (Jan 1997) x 55% Growth = Qtr's Sales = $5.8 Billion
Qtr's sales x profit percentage (.079) = Qtr's Profits = $460 million
Dilute Earnings per share = $460 M/1.39 B = 0.33/share

My Prediction
Growth (qtr to qtr) = 65% [28% increase over Oct. qtr]
Profit Perc = 7.9%

Sales Figures = $6.16 Billion
Profits =$487 million
Earnings = 0.35/share
