I've had some time frames of 20 working days when I would have a 10% expense ratio, but usually more when I don't hold over a few days. One 20 day cycle I grossed 28k and had less than 2k in costs, but that was really an exception. My average trade cost was around $25 per ticket. I have brought that down by changing brokers.
