Agree. Look like Gateway is the first to put out the Imac version of
the traditional look and feel pc box.

The picture is cute, eye-catching, and yes, may cause Viagra short supply.

It may be new to Gateway, but Hitachi has had a machine packaged like this and sold at Fry's in Palo Alto over a year ago. It sold for $2695. Gateway machine is a little faster, with a little bigger drive and a little cheaper.

Perhaps this form factor is catching on in Japan. I bought my wife an IBM 770E for Christmas for a compact home machine. It has a 1024x768 display but costs a little more than this. It has the nice feature that it turns itself to low power mode when the screeen/top is closed.
