i was in a panic after buying a leap and watching it fall then i thought, why not buy on the drop. i got in at 97 1/2, but it took an hour with etrade so i dont know if it would have been lower or higher. just lucky . your turn next time. i added a hundred shares. margin very tight now so i hope it goes up mon. thanks for advice down the line. bbb

Venkie, terrific analysis. I'll be at my favorite seat at the Casino at 6:30AM, with Maria and Joe on in the background watching the fireworks. If Arthur would deliver my new Dell t-shirt or Dell would deliver my new hat I could dress appropriately for the occasion. As it is, I'll have to wear one of my SI shirts.

Venkie,

Days like Thursday and Friday are reasons why I stopped using margin. Actually, I have a cash reserve this time. But I think that if you are not too deep in margin you will do just fine. DELL has just too many good things going for it presently.

As for the bounce back in October, I remember it all too well. I didn't know that a rate cut has happenned but saw the Nasdaq Composite jump steeply in the quote.com chart, checked this thread and found that someone has posted that there has been a rate cut, called my broker, confirmed and bought DELL '01 90 LEAPS with all my available cash and margin (had to wait some 5 minutes for the confiramtion which seemed like eternity). Those have appreciated some 400% since then.

Best wishes for the coming week!

-Apratim.

Donnie:
All signs here point to a go for tomorrow. 65 degrees, clear skies with all stars and constellations showing, a big old hootie owl in nearby tree. No coyotes yet tho, may have to wake them up with a song.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... the skies at night, are big and brighttttttttttttt.
Whoooops I forgot that *@^&%$# pig, don't want to attract him to the door. Hes the about the uglist cuss I ever saw, about 1 /3 hairy head and always hungry. Friendly enough, tho.
Am feeling pretty good today. Went about 1 1/2 miles, warming up or the Cowtown Marathon on the 26 th. Will only go 5K tho, but its one of
the rare things I enjoy more than making money. Drew would understand
Don't want to see any Marines in it tho, I was in a race in Newport Beach when a squad of Camp Pendleton marines in formation,
combat boots,5 girls with long hair, and all singing blew by me after one mile. A disgusting display of youthful exuberance.
NAS +1025 The old Dell train should be moving out tomorrow.
