Yes, all your posts will have your new name

Normally, all the previous SI posts will show the new alias, but I was doing a search once in Lycos or Alta Vista for a song lyric and actually came across a post on SI from someone I knew that had posted the song lyric. It showed up in the list under his original name even though he had since changed to an alias. He sent whoever, an e-mail, complaining but I'm not sure of the outcome.

It won't change the index entries from pages that have already been crawled. Subsequent crawls will reflect the new alias even on old posts, but old indexes will always reflect the original alias from when they were first crawled. If the person finding it on a search engine clicks on the URL, they will know both your old and new alias. Such is life.
