Actually CMcD, based on shear value the play of the week has to be UIHIA (you are talking $55-$60 of value to the mother companies) and SFE (worth up to $10 to the mother company) a close second. They also both IPO early to mid week. Then comes BANY, unless we get word that it starts trading this week.

I think the DLIA spin-off is iTurf, not ivillage (ivillage is something else). I just got out of this one myself on Friday after getting 2.5 points and then seeing that the IPO is now scheduled for late March. Thus, this can be played again.

There still might be some potential play with OTEXF and miningco.com if OTEXF continues it's slide.

PWCC, well, this one will self destruct soon. FLAS is only worth a few bucks to the mother company if you do the math correctly, yet the stock is up 16 since the announcement. A small float of 600,000 shares keeps this one a float. Actually, a decent play might be to short it.

BNYN and KLOC are ones to buy and hold for the news. the news for NAVR has been out for a long time. The company already said they will do a spin-off and already gave a time frame. Maybe a sell off on the news scenario at this point?? (BTW, has anyone gotten NetRadio to ever work real well, technically, on a consistent basis?) Just a guess.

Yep, BANY can still be a good play. Any idea on the float for BANY and Anything Internet? What is the timing on the Anything Internet IPO? Will there be much press on it before it starts trading? Since there is still time for this one many you could provide some additional details.

Thanks.

C McD invited me over here to share the IDTC story. IDTC is currently in the quiet stage. Nobody knows what is going to happen exactly, so the stock is not really flying yet, but IPO/spin-off is "imminent" according to CEO 2 weeks ago. Here is the story as I posted it on the Value Stock thread recently:
