Management are fully aware of the Salting banter but rather than settling the matter by allowing the entire group of dimonds taken from the 200 ton sample to be analyzed by an independent diamond expert selected by the exchange to determine if they all came from the Snap Lake area, they are refusing to allow anyone to look at the stones while using untenable excuses like they don't want DeBeers to find out what type of stones they have and it would be beneath them to answer the unsubstantiated salting rumors. If you were accussed of a crime you did not commit while information which proved your innocence was in your safety deposit box would you tell people it is beneath your dignity to have to prove your innocence, or would you immediately open the box with police watching to prove your innocence. If you were guilty you would show nothing to anyone and try to destroy the contents of your safety deposit box which could be used to prove your guilt! Management should simply allow an expert to examine the stones! Investors know that if the salting rumors were quashed by an independent study the stock would jump to over $4 or $5. So why don't management take the initiative and get it done?? It appears that management and inside investors are keeping the stock up by releasing lengthy complicated innocuous news reports while quietly selling into the confused market. I am just attempting to give the other side of the story so investors can make an informed decision!
