>>>What do you know about Bank One's time table for bill presentment<<<

Maurice, I am not sure about Bank One's time table. I do know that they are further along than many other big banks.I expect that this year we will have many big billers up and running on their site.

As for the girl's husband at Bank One, he will get converted in time.
I heard the same thing about buying things over the internet all last year from people and look at the E-Commerce sales for the Christmas holidays. EBPP is only now emerging to the masses the husband will convert in time. As I have said many times on this thread, IT IS NOT IF, BUT WHEN!! This slogan was given to me in Fla. last summer by Sharon Osberg, V.P. of Online banking at Wells Fargo.

Also, I expect EBPP to get much better in terms of perfomance over the next two years. We are still in the prop air plane era in terms of EBPP but we will enter into the turbine stage very fast. That is why CF must stay on their toes in terms of product development because I guarantee you that their are many others who will try to beat them to the punch.

Matt Lewis, listen to what your customers (the Billers) are saying and keep on your toes so you can kick TP's a## because TP is going to come at you with every thing they got. I expect TP to give it a last ditch effort before they hand the keys over to FDC.

L.A.

Bank One Introduces Fully Integrated Electronic Bill Delivery to Online Banking Customers

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 19, 1999--Bank One Corporation (NYSE:ONE - news) has become one of the nation's first companies to fully integrate electronic bill delivery into its Web-based online banking service.

This means Bank One's current 300,000 online customers -- one of the largest online banking customer bases in the country -- can both receive and pay bills right from their computer through the Bank One Web site (www.bankone.com).

In addition to this new service, a customer can conduct a comprehensive array of other banking transactions simply after entering his or her Bank One ATM card number and personal identification number (PIN). Those services include reviewing account balances, monitoring account activities, transferring money from one account to another, applying for a credit card and applying for loans -- all with a few clicks of the mouse.

Until now, bill delivery has been a missing link in online banking. The new bill delivery service from Bank One enables Bank One customers to both receive and pay bills online through the Bank One Web site (www.bankone.com).

Bank One introduced its OnLine Banking service to Texas customers in July 1997. To date, nearly 53,000 Texas customers have signed up for the service, said Bruce Luecke, president of Interactive Delivery Services, a business unit of the Bank One Retail Group.

''E-bill is like an electronic postman delivering your bills, neatly, to your computer rather than to the mailbox outside,'' Luecke said. ''This is the first time our customers will be able to receive bills, pay bills and bank -- all in one place, online.''

''Online banking customers told us they want to receive bills as well as pay them at the same place they do their online banking, with the convenience of a few clicks of the mouse,'' Luecke said. ''This service increases the convenience and control online banking customers have over their financial activities. This service will go a long way to popularizing online banking.''

E-billing is a free feature of the Bank One Online Bill Payment service, which allows consumers to make electronic payments from anywhere in the U.S. for only $4.95 per month.

Once on the Internet, here's how the new bill delivery service works for customers who have signed up to receive and pay bills online:

-- A click to www.bankone.com

-- A click to the online banking area of the Bank One Web site

-- Enter Bank One ATM card number and personal identification number
(PIN), whereupon a message will appear if there are new bills to
open

-- A click to open bills

-- Review billing detail (bills are identical to the way they would
appear in paper form)

-- Click to indicate payment from Bank One account, or file for
future payment
''This process is designed to give online banking customers convenience and control,'' Luecke said. ''The customer determines how much of the bill to pay and the date of payment.''

Initially, 15 companies have agreed to deliver their bills online to Bank One customers. To date, seven are actually listed on the Bank One Web site: American Electric Power, BellSouth, Boston Edison, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Consumers Energy, HomeSide Lending and MCI WorldCom. Bank One expects the list of billers available through the Bank One Web site to continue to expand over the next few weeks and beyond.

''In addition, over time, as the popularity of e-billing spreads, so too will the list of companies that want to participate in online billing,'' Luecke said.

Today, Bank One is considered one of the nation's leading online banking providers. Bank One is the largest provider of credit cards online through its credit card subsidiary, First USA. And Bank One is the sole partner in an agreement with Excite, Inc., to create a full-service financial center available to Excite's 17 million monthly users.

Bank One, Texas has assets of $25 billion and ranks among the three largest banks in Texas. It is a subsidiary of Bank One Corporation, the nation's fourth-largest banking company with assets of more than $260 billion. Bank One has more than 2,000 banking offices in 14 states, including Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. It also is a major corporate bank nationally and has offices in 11 foreign countries. Bank One is one of the nation's largest credit card lenders, the leading retail bank in eight states, the nation's third-largest bank lender to small businesses, and the third-largest bank mutual fund company.
