I might not be able to make accurate comments on it, but I can certainly speculate on it. And my speculation of your ball game, I suspect, is not what you speculate it is. P.S. nice comments on the stochastic diffusion models, that shook a few cobwebs lose. Been more than a few years since I tried to solve some of those, driven not by Weiner processes but by infinite-variance Hurst processes, and with absorbing states and irregular boundaries to make it more interesting, though in quite a different setting from finance.
