Douglas,

Bet you thought this was going to be another hundred questions on FC/SNMP/WDM/LASER/EVERYOTHERACRONYMYOUCANTHINKOF. You're right, I've got a few more questions, but I'll save them for another week.

I'm a dog with two bones. The other is convertible preferreds. Some investors in Ancor live in the Twin Cities and may have friends or relatives who are considering investing in Excelsior Henderson Motorcycle Manufacturing Company (Nasdaq National Market: BIGX). They were written up today in the Minneapolis StarTribune, and the article listed the investments made in this (relatively) new company.

Among the loans and stock placements listed was two series of convertible preferred stock. Who could resist such a tease; a quick look at SEC documents shows that the Rose Glen Capital Management LP has purchased $10M of Series B and $3M of Series C convertible preferred stock that appears to have a fixed conversion price until 9/3/99 and then a variable conversion price based on the market price thereafter.

You know what that could mean. If you know any current owners you might want to alert them to the excitement that may lie ahead.
