<<I am worried about their figures on 2/16/99. I've only seen a single wild estimation of 0.09 per share profit somewhere on Yahoo. Wall Street expects -0.04.>>

Why do you care enough to be worried? Q4 earnings is the end of LAST YEAR. With expectations set so low and 1998 a full-year loss no matter what happens, it is a golden opportunity for MRVC to take charges for any remaining deadwood, such as closing a low-return sales office, product or product line, or inventory elimination. That plus continued build-up of R&D and SG&A for their new products, are likely to make Q4 a mixed bag.

In this light, profit or loss in Q4 is not that important. What matters is the CC and their forward looking prospects.

A good CC and we go up. A continued cautious CC (which I expect) and they dip after earnings (from the rise coming in the next 7 sessions) and we will have to wait another quarter before the street sees the light. I don't expect a bad CC, as their new products are clearly exciting and worth waiting for.
