Sonny,

I've been off the thread for a while. It seems everyone is looking for places to put their money. Here is what I see short term (like the next week or so):

INTC, LU should be heading up.
CSCO, DELL are still over bought and may be heading down.
AOL, AMD, MSFT, EMC, CMGI, ASND all look as if they are bottoming and starting a turn around.
(Don't you just love the weasel words like should and may?)

I looked at these stocks as they are the ones being mentioned here most recently. The surprise here is AMD. From a chart stand point, the are very over sold and look to be at a bottom. It could go down from here but is more likely to move to the upside.

(Obligatory weekend joke:)
If Dear Abby were a man -
Q: My fiance still has feelings for his old girlfriends. I'm afraid he will not be faithful.
A: A man's capacity to love is boundless. It has been proven to increase with the number of sexual partners. Thus, by having a few other women, your partner is really increasing his love for you. Best thing to do is to buy him a nice, expensive present, cook him a nice meal and don't mention this aspect of his behavior.

Regards,
dmg

Hello Sonny,

Looking at the overall market picture last week, the poor performance could have been due to profit taking and moving capital to cyclicals. Looking at todays volumes, the money is flowing back into technicals again. If I am correct, then by the end of this week we will be were we left out last week of Jan, buth then the real correction is lying ahead, maybe in March.

Indeed too bad about King Hussein of Jordan. I think the Middle
East lost one its greaters leaders, and the West lost a good friend.
I watched the funeral on CNN, it was unlike anything I have ever seen.

Kind regards,

Yaacov
