OT...Correct! One gold star! I was pretty sure that was what it was, wonderful books--did not understand the symbolism back then, but those books got me reading...and I became a voracious reader as a little kid because of them. Went through Madeline L'Engle (sp?), the standard classics/Mark Twain! and then, of course, being a boy, went over to sci-fi ...even saw Herbert and Harlan Ellison in person one time up here in Seattle. Was so cool to be a kid...even today sometimes a book will pull me in and I lose myself for a day or two.
