I never owned a single share of Bre-X until the arbitrage stage. Clients of mine lost a lot of money others made scads. As a stock it was great. I remember looking at the core and idling thinking it looked funny and looking at De Guzman and Felderhof when I met them and thinking there was something amiss but not exactly knowing what. I guess it teaches us to be extreme skeptics in this business. There is nothing like mining to encourage the larceny in mens souls. Of course the stock frauds that abound in other sectors and with other exchanges abound as well but mining does seem to be notorious. EC<:-}
