WHAT: BMG, EMI, Sony Music, Universal Music and Warner Music are
joining with IBM to conduct the first-ever trial of a system
that permits the fast and convenient distribution of
CD-quality albums in a highly secure format over the
Internet. This will be the first demonstration for the media
of this broadband cable modem delivery system. Following the
demonstration, the system will be available for reporters to
use.

WHEN: Monday, Feb. 8
11:00 a.m. Presentation begins
Refreshments will be served

WHO: Executives from BMG, EMI, Sony Music, Universal Music,
Warner Music and IBM will be available during the
demonstration to answer questions.
