In addition as Peter Sprague points out the amount each article is read can be tracked and used as a better measure than currently exists of the impact of a particular scholar's work.

Have spent too much time reading WAVX board lately -- it's become very repetitious. We are at the point where all that matters is whether deployment agreements are in place. Time will tell.

Hasn't Univ. of Mich put their doctoral dissertations on the web yet?
