THEAD ---Lucent Technologies Inc. Dow Jones Newswires -- February 8, 1999 Lucent Tech Unveils IP Capabilities For Definity System ARLINGTON, Va. (Dow Jones)--Lucent Technologies Inc. (LU) unveiled Definity IP Solutions, software and hardware that adds IP telephony capabilities to its Definity Enterprise Communications Server and Definity ProLogix Solutions. In a press release Monday, Lucent said the product allows businesses to send voice and fax communications over their local area networks, intranets, wide area networks and the Internet. The company said that Definity IP Solutions will be available by year end. Pricing information wasn't immediately available. Lucent Technologies is a network communications company. BEST WISHES BILL
