Did you see the US beat Germany in Florida! Of course most of the US players play in the European leagues. Yanks say footie is not a man's game - of course American football is played by a bunch of overweight, steroid hyped, refrigerators who stay on the pitchfor 2-10 minute spells, cover themselves in armour, and need to hire a special guy to kick the ball and a committe to keep the score with computers. I don't think any of them could run the 90 minutes, unprotected, with the body contact and heel tapping, that footie requires. Inmagine an English footie match where the referee stood in the middle waving his arms and declaring "uneccessary roughness".

The Reds did well on Saturday. I was listening to it on the car radio as I drove around Devon. Apparently GOD is claiming the first goal was his from a brilliant overhead kick, but Owen is also claiming it because he tapped it in (after it was over the line, says Robbie). It's important because they are both on million pound deals linked to the goal-scoring exploits. They should have a goal judge and red light like in hockey.

Lots of injuries and suspensions coming up. They moved up a place to 5th but are 4 points behind Villa. So they will need to keep up the consistency. I think they can take out Villa and Chelsea and get thidr place behind United and Arsenal. Song is very popular on Merseyside.

WALK ON, WALK ON, WITH HOPE IN YOUR HEART AND YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
