<<Well, as with the stock market, don't put all your chips in one basket. Be sure that the premises behind these offers of eternal luxuria have been responsibly audited and have the standard disclaimers.>>

I don't. The evidence is there for anybody who wants to check. Throughout history, people who've thought they had the system beat, ended up with the butt kickin' they deserved. People who lived a decent life have had a modicom of what we call the rewards of the good life. I have rewards in this world. I've had a good education that continues, I enjoy my family life and friendships, I work in an honest trade wherein the challenges are reasonable. In addition to this, when I go to bring what I have to the alter of judgement, I am confident and hopeful that with some mercy it will wash.

<<Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't. Also remember, where ever there is a lot of money to be had, there will be tons of fraudulent people after it.>>

Yeah, I agree totally. That is why I have no problem with the descriptors of eternity. In this case If I do the right things for myself. If I live a life that works according to the standard descriptions of what is good for me is good for others and so care obout the goodness of others as much as myself will result in goodness for me not only in the near future but for eternity. Where is the money to be gotten in this idea (televangelism is not what I'm talking about). How does the promiser of rewards benefit? None. I can be as awful as I want or as good as I choose and it doesn't effect my Lord even a twinkle. If it did the all powerful thing wouldn't wash would it. Nope, again your premise is based on temporal relevence. If that's as far as you can imagine, I suggest you get yourself a sixpack of Bud, and worship at the alter of the nearest sports channel. You'll probably have some fun. Sure it will be over in short order and you'll pay dearly when you sober up. But at least you'll get in on some enjoyment in this world. Go for the gusto, dude. Its all you're ever going to get. I'm not your saviour and I'm not trying to stop you from doing what ever you want. As long as you, don't interfere with my life, I'm happy to let you live yours in anonymity. In this case where you are supporting bc the great liar and cheat of the age we have some minimal involvement but not much of consequence really.
